Jaime A. Ernst 87 of Peru. Died 8:10 AM January 14, 2015 in IVCH. Private services will be Saturday in the Ptak Funeral Home. Burial will be at St Vincent Cemetery. Jaime was born July 27, 1927 in La Paz, Bolivia to Hugo and Elena (Sagarnaga) Ernst. He married Aida Galaz in 1958 in Lima, Peru. He was a Chemical Engineer with Lone Star Industries in Oglesby for over 30 years, up till his retirement. He was a member of St Valentine Church and Lions Club of Peru. He is survived by his wife Aida of Peru. His children Monica (Robert) Floersch of Sycamore, IL., Jaime F. (Janice) Ernst of Lincoln, IL., Karen (Adam) Rhine of Des Plaines, IL and Carlos Ernst of Peru. 6 Grandchildren and 1 sister Clemencia Montenegro of La Paz, Bolivia. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers.
