Audrey Lillian Brown

Audrey Lillian Brown 88 of Peru. Passed away February 8, 2018, in her home. Funeral services will be Tuesday 11:00 AM in the Ptak Funeral Home. Rev Sue Graham will officiate. Burial will be in Peru City Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 AM until time of services. Audrey was born June 13, 1929, in Peru to Harold and Alyce (Knight) Redeen. She was a 1946 Graduate of La Salle- Peru Township High School. She married Robert Brown on April 25, 1951, in Peru. Audrey was a stay at home mom until the kids were grown. She then volunteered at the Lighted Way and worked at the News Tribune, a job she loved. Audrey and her husband took yearly fishing trips to Chetek, WS. They also belonged to several bowling leagues. Audrey is survived by her son David Brown of Peru and her daughter Jayne Brown of Spring Valley. 2 Granddaughters Susan (David) Huss of Tonica and Ann (Casey) Lage of Colfax, IL. 3 Great Granddaughters Brianna, Elizabeth and Angela Huss. 1 brother Donald (Rosemary) Redeen of Peru. She is also survived by her other special sister in law Isabel Brown of Amboy and several nieces and nephews. Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, her daughter in law and friend Paula Brown. Memorials may be directed to the Horizon House in Peru.
