Barbara J. Gordon

Barbara J. Gordon, 77 of La Salle. Passed away January 24, 2026.

Services will be private; Cremation rites have been accorded. Ptak Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Barbara was born October 3, 1948, in La Salle to Robert and Mabel (Cook) Tadych. Barbara worked for People’s Hospital, later IVCH, for over 45 years in the housekeeping department. She loved to play Bingo, especially on Sundays at the Oglesby Elks club.

Barbara is survived by her sister Sue Tadych of La Salle. Her cousins Mary Haun and Deb and Carl Slusarek. Her sister-in-law Lynn Swinda.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and her son John Gordon.
