Dolores E. "Dee" Hanford

Dolores E.” Dee” Hanford 51 of Peru. Passed away November 1,2017 in Manor Court of Peru. Per her wishes cremation rites have been accorded. Private Burial will be at a later date. A Celebration of Her Life gathering will be Saturday November 11 from 1:00- 3:00 PM at the Paramount Club in La Salle. Ptak Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. Dee was born January 3,1966 in La Salle to Emil and Irma (Dudek) Wylepski. She married Ken Hanford December 20,1992 at the First Congregational Church of Peru. She worked as a Medical assistant for Dr. David Coynik for many years. She then worked as a caregiver for the Home Instead Senior Care of Peru. She was very active in the Pink Ribbon Club at the First Congregational Church of Peru. Dee is survived by her husband Ken of Peru. Her daughter Gwen Hanford of Peru. 1 sister Toni George of La Salle and 1 Brother Nick Wylepski of Belize. Dee is also survived by several nieces and nephews and 2 Great nephews. Dee was preceded in death by her parents and 1 Brother Richard.
