James Gilligan

James Gilligan 64 of La Salle. Died April 6, 2018, in his home. Private family services will be at Ptak Funeral Home. Private burial will be at St Vincent Cemetery. Cremation rites have been accorded. James was born November 29,1953, in La Salle to Robert Edmund and Betty (Brust) Gilligan. He was graduate of St Patrick’s Grade School and La Salle-Peru Township High School. He retired from Consolidated Freightways in Peru, where he worked for over 25 years. James enjoyed Golf, Hiking, fishing and listening to Music. James was a loving brother to his sister Patricia (Jeff) Schryver of Charleston, SC and 3 brothers Jeffrey (Tamara) Gilligan of Plano, TX, John Gilligan of Crystal Lake, IL and Robert (Donnie) Gilligan of Ransom, IL. Loving Uncle to Several nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by his parents.
