Graveside services for James P. Verda 90 of Covington, GA, formerly of Peru and Mark, IL, who Passed away November 4,2020 in Georgia will be 11:00 AM Tuesday June 7, 2022, in St Valentine Cemetery. La Salle Oglesby Veteran’s Memorial Group will conduct graveside rites.

James was born March 13,1930 in Mark, IL. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He was a retired truck driver with the teamsters. Moved to Georgia in 2003.

James is survived by his son David of Covington, GA and several brothers and sisters.

He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia and his daughter Debra.
