Jerome W. "Jerry" Ptak

Jerome “Jerry” William Ptak 62 of Newport News VA died April 26th, 2021 in his home. Funeral services will be held at a later date. He was born June 19, 1958, in Peru Illinois to James and Norma (Ernenputsch) Ptak. He was a 1977 graduate of St. Bede Academy. He retired from the United States Army and Virginia Power. He loved to cook and playing with his fur baby KK. Jerome is survived by his wife Nancy of Newport News, VA, his sons Christopher (Brook) Ptak of Chesterfield VA, James Ptak of Charlottesville VA, Daughter: Tasha (Rob Zamaro) Ptak, Two grandsons: Caleb Ptak and Josiah Zamaro. Three sisters: Diane (Al) Brackett of Washington Utah, Barbara Gorski of Granville, Mary Jo Burris of Peru, One brother: John (Pam) Ptak of LaSalle. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers James Ptak and Louis “Mike” Ptak. He will be forever in our hearts.
