Leonard A. Lundeen

Leonard A. Lundeen 69 of Peru. July 21, 2026, passed away in Goldwater Care Marseilles.

Leonard was born December 3,1956, in Kewanee, IL to Richard and Mary Ellen (Hepner) Lundeen. Leonard graduated from Kewanee High School in 1975. He married Renee Redeen March 20, 1992, in Kewanee. Leonard worked for the Henry County Sheriff’s Department and then retired as Chief of Police in Annawan, IL. He later worked in hospitality.

Leonard was a big Green Bay Packer fan. He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors and riding his Harley and spending time with his pets.

Leonard is survived by his wife Renee Lundeen, mother-in law Rose Marie Redeen of Peru, sister-in-law Jennifer (John Lally) Berkley of Normal, IL., His nephew Ryan Lally of Normal, IL and niece Lexi Berkley of Spring Hill, TN.

Leonard was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters Jan Desy and Delores Cheek and his father-in-law Donald Redeen.

Per Leonard’s wishes there will be no visitation. A private celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Ptak Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
