Louis T. Wollack

Louis T. Wollack 96 of Peru. Died 7:13 am December 9, 2013 in St Francis Medical center Peoria. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am Friday at St Valentine Church Peru. Rev Ronald Margerhio OSB will officiate. Burial will be in St Valentine Cemetery. Peru Veterans Memorial Group will conduct graveside services. Visitation will be Friday morning from 9:00 am till time of services in the church. Ptak Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. Louis was born August 23, 1917 in Peru to Louis and Agatha (Wolak) Wolak. He married Wanda Kopczyk October 26, 1946 at St Valentine Church. He served in the Army Air Artillery during WWII in Papuan Campaign. Stationed in New Guinea, Australia and East Indies. He served from 1941-1945. He worked as a Machine operator at Bakelite in Peru up till his retirement in 1979. He was a member of St Valentine Church, Peru VFW # 8232. He also worked in the Civilian Conservation Corp until WWII. He is survived by his wife Wanda of Peru. 1 Son Dale (Lou Ann) Wollack of La Salle. 4 Grandchildren Scott, Michael, Nicholas and Brittany Wollack.
