Mary G. Boyer 71 of Oglesby passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. For those who knew and loved her, she never lost her sense of humor and her love of laughter. A Celebration of her life will be Saturday September 21 from 11 am-2 pm at Pulaski Park in La Salle. Per her request her body was donated to Science. Ptak Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. She was born April 27, 1942 in Cecilia, KY to Thomas and Letty (Sheroan) Thomas. She worked at Harper-Wyman Co. in Princeton for many years. She is survived by 1 daughter Bobbi Rueben of La Salle. 2 sons Bob (Laurie) Boyer of Peru and Greg (Crystal) Boyer of Beaver Dam, WI. 11 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren and her dog Rollo.
