Robert D. "Bob" Alteri

Robert D. “Bob” Alteri 64 of Peru. He passed away November 28, 2023, in his home.
Visitation will be Monday, December 4, 2023, from 3:00-5:00 PM in the Ptak Funeral Home. Cremation rites will follow the services. Ptak Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Robert was born on January 28, 1959, in Peru to Ferdinand and Rita (Papini) Alteri. Robert married Brenda Diling on October 26, 1983, in Ottawa. Robert worked most of life as a laborer and later as a butcher in local grocery stores.
Robert loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He also loved music, playing guitar, the Chicago Bears, and fishing.
Robert is survived by his mother Rita Alteri, and his wife Brenda. His sons are James Alteri, Steven (Taylor) Alteri, and Shawn Conrad. His daughter Jennifer Alteri. His grandchildren Joseph, Krysta, Anthony, Olivia, Starli, Julian, Oliver, Donald, Kairi, Lydia and Atticus. 3 brothers Gary Alteri, Louie Alteri, and Dale Alteri, and his sister Angela (Dave) Catalanello.
He was preceded in death by his father and his grandma Rosie.
