Thomas D. “Tomy” Wall 51 of Peru. Died unexpectedly 8:40 PM April 29, 2014 in his home. Mass of Christian burial will be Friday 11:00 AM at St Valentine Church Peru. The Rev William Gardner will officiate. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Tonica. The Peru Veterans Memorial group will conduct Full Military graveside services. Visitation will be Friday morning in the church from 9:00 am till time of services. Ptak Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. Tom was born July 18, 1962 in Peoria, IL to Thomas A. and Marian (Kujawa) Wall. He was a 1980 Graduate of St Bede Academy. He served in the Marine Corp did his basic training in Camp Pendleton in San Diego, CA., Stationed in Glenview. He worked in a motor transport unit. Tom worked at La Salle Manufacturing and Machine for many years and then worked at Diamond Star Mitsubishi in Bloomington. He is survived by his father Thomas A. Wall of Peru. 1 daughter Machelle of Peru, 2 sons Michael Wall of Oglesby and Mitchel of Peru. 5 sisters Linda (Ron) Lewis of Cherry Hill, NJ, Kathleen (Firas) Zabaneh of Sugarland, TX, Penny Deters of Sauk Centre, MN., Sharon (Alexander) Drotschmann of Raleigh, NC., and Mary (John) Manzella of St Louis, MO. And 1 Brother Dennis (Makiko) Wall of Chicago. He was preceded in death by his Mother Marian, 1 daughter Malissa and 1 Brother Dennis John Wall. Memorials may be directed to the family.
