Tina M. Khoija, 57, of La Salle, passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Peru.

Tina was born on July 7, 1969, in Peru, Illinois, to Mel and Rose (Mayszak) Stevens.

Throughout her life, Tina found purpose in the work she did, beginning in the floral industry before continuing her career in healthcare. Both fields reflected different sides of who she was—her creativity, her caring heart, and her ability to bring comfort to others. Whether through the beauty of flowers or the kindness she extended to those around her, Tina had a way of making a difference in the lives she touched.

Above all, Tina was a mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. Her family was an important part of her life, and the memories made with those she loved will forever be cherished.

Tina is survived by her husband, Adel Khoija of La Salle; her mother, Rose Stevens of Peru; her children, Jared (Emily) Khoija of La Salle, Jeremy (Tiara) Khoija of Hillside, Illinois, Tanner (Karyn) Khoija of Princeton, and Amira Khoija of La Salle; her two grandsons, Hudson and Sawyer; her brother, Thomas (Cristy) Stevens of Tonica; her sister, Tracie (Allan) Willis of La Salle; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Mel Stevens; her nephew, TJ Stevens; and her granddaughter, Leah Khoija.

Visitation will be on Tuesday November 3, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Ptak Funeral Home in Peru. Cremation rites will follow the services.
